Billy Nayden, Contributor

Picks: Ryan Bader, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Julia Budd. I believe she is a top 5 fighter in the world at 145 [pounds] and this fight is literally designed to get her back on track,” wrote Nayden. “Think she is better on the feet and on the ground than Jessy Miele.”

Joseph Shaw, Contributor

Picks: Vadim Nemkov, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Nemkov. I might get a lot of stick for this, but I like who Nemkov has beaten,” wrote Shaw. “Three Bellator champs in a row in [Liam] Mcgeary, [Phil] Davis and [Rafael] Cavalho. He has so much momentum going for him right now and he’s only 28 which is considerably young for the division I think he will win by decision.”

Joe McDonagh, Contributor

Picks: Ryan Bader, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Budd. Jessy Miele has won via split decision in her last two,” wrote McDonagh. “Budd is a huge step up in competition, and has dominated since 2012, Miele is no slouch, but Budd is on a different level here.”

Ryan Fortune, Contributor

Picks: Ryan Bader, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Valentin Moldavsky. Roy Nelson is 44 years old, has only won one fight within three years and has lost his last four consecutive fights,” wrote Fortune. “Moldavsky is a surging prospect and I think he demonstrates why he is one to watch in the Bellator heavyweight division.”

Shawn Bitter, Contributor

Picks: Vadim Nemkov, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Maldoksky. Nelson, at this point, in his career is a bit over the hill. On the other side, Maldovsky is in his prime,” wrote Bitter. “I expect Maldovsky to wrestle Nelson to a dominant victory.”

Sergio Pineiro, Contributor

Picks: Ryan Bader, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Budd. Budd’s losses are to three of the greatest women of all time. Arguably 1,2 and 3,” wrote Pineiro. “She is a pioneer of women’s MMA and in my opinion is the third greatest female fighter today. Miele, I have a lot of respect for Miele for what she’s accomplished. She looked great in her debut but hasn’t been decisive enough. Expect Budd’s experience against high-level competition help her rebound with a comfortable victory.”

Kristen King, Contributor

Picks: Ryan Bader, Julia Budd, Valentin Moldavsky and John Salter.

Most Confident: “Budd. There is no doubt in my mind that Budd is better than Miele in every aspect of this fight, so I expect a clear win for the former champion. This is the perfect opportunity for Budd to do two things: remind everyone how she became a long-reigning champion in the first place and put herself right back into title contention.”
